Bridge Arch & Cable Lighting Project: Safe, Energy-Saving & Smart Illumination
This project is a landmark bridge lighting renovation located in a major urban waterfront area. The bridge features a series of elegant double arches and cable-stayed structures. Yutian Lighting was commissioned to design and implement a safe, energy-efficient, and highly reliable exterior lighting solution. Utilizing advanced DC48V low-voltage technology and RDM wireless control, we transformed the bridge into a stunning nighttime landmark that enhances the city's skyline while ensuring public safety and minimizing environmental impact.
As a key transportation artery and scenic spot, the bridge required an upgrade from outdated, high-energy lighting to a modern, sustainable system. The original lighting suffered from high maintenance costs, safety hazards due to high voltage, and limited color-changing capabilities. The municipal government sought a municipal road lighting solution that could withstand harsh outdoor conditions, provide vibrant visual effects, and significantly reduce operational costs.

Yutian Lighting designed a bespoke Bridge Cable & Arch Illumination System:
Fixture Integration: We installed specialized cable-mounted linear fixtures (as shown in the product image) directly onto the bridge's tension cables and arch ribs. The cylindrical aluminum housing clamps securely, protecting the internal LED modules.
Power & Control: Implemented a DC48V low-voltage DC power supply running the entire length of the bridge. This ensures high safety for workers and the public. The system utilizes RDM (Remote Device Management) constant power drivers, allowing each fixture to maintain stable brightness even with minor voltage drops over distance.
Wireless Network: Deployed a 2km wireless self-organizing network for intelligent control. This eliminates the need for expensive long-distance wiring for data signals, enabling seamless communication between fixtures for synchronized color changes and dynamic patterns.
